My client is looking for Press Setter to join on them on a 6 month contract. As a Press Setter, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing power presses and set press tools have a good Knowledge of manufacturing tools and presses.

Role: Press Setter
Pay: £11.45 PAYE plus Holiday Pay on top
Location: Southend
Contract: 6 months
Hours: Monday to Wednesday 6.30am - 4.30pm and Thursday 6.30am - 3.30pm
Candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK.
Job Profile

Experience in single action and Progression tooling and setting.
Familiar with standard QC processes for pressed parts
Comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH requirements.
Work to relevant processes and procedures.
Completion of First offs and quality paperwork
Carry out activities in line with company procedures and process standard work.
Identify improvements.
Ensure efficient running of presses Participate in improvement teams and initiatives.
Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.
May be expected to work other shift patterns.
Skills/Experience Required

Must be committed to achieving the teams objectives and targets
Fully conversant with all aspects of press setting, single action and Progressing tooling
Must be proactive towards improvement ideas/ programs
Must be self-motivated and able to use your own initiative
Must be familiar with all associated quality standards.
Must be willing to adapt to new working practices and techniques
Flexible approach must be willing to support in all areas of the press unit
Good communicator at all levels.
