Job Description:
 
As a Server/Waitress in our clients pizza restaurant, you play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and efficient service contribute to the overall satisfaction of our diners.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take orders, provide menu recommendations, and answer customer inquiries with enthusiasm.
Order Fulfillment:
Efficiently relay customer orders to the kitchen, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Serve food and beverages promptly, addressing any special requests or dietary considerations.
Table Maintenance:
Ensure tables are set and maintained to the restaurant's standards.
Clear and clean tables promptly, preparing them for the next guests.
Upselling:
Promote additional menu items, specials, and desserts to enhance the overall dining experience.
Suggest beverage pairings to complement pizza selections.
Cash Handling:
Process customer payments accurately, handling cash and electronic transactions.
Provide change and receipts promptly.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to coordinate order delivery and maintain efficient service.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Qualifications:
Previous experience as a server or waitress is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the menu items, including pizza varieties and ingredients, is a plus. Hours: Flexible hours from 8am until 11pm are required. The shift patterns continually change, so will not suit applicants with additional commitments.
