Position Overview:
As a Process/NPD Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of food products, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects from concept to commercialization, utilizing your expertise in stage and gate processes to drive efficiency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting trials and experiments to develop new food products or improve existing ones.
2. Collaborating with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure successful product launches.
3. Managing project timelines and budgets, adhering to stage and gate processes throughout the development cycle.
4. Conducting product and process audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
6. Keeping abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience in food product development and process optimization.
* Familiarity with stage and gate processes, preferably in the food industry.
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Benefits:
