We are recruiting for an experienced Event Manager for a company who are leading in their industry.

As the Event Manager, you will take on a pivotal role in our client's events department, overseeing all aspects of planning and delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

Line management of the events team, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration
Managing the events calendar, scheduling annual conferences, socials, and bespoke events
Taking overall responsibility for the events department budget and ensuring profitability
Organising and coordinating all aspects of conferences, socials, and roundtable events, including venue management, supplier coordination, and speaker invitations
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with sponsors and partners
Leading marketing efforts for all events, working closely with production and editorial teams on marketing campaigns
Negotiating and managing suppliers, such as venues, audio-visual companies, and photographers
Handling delegate management and addressing event-related queriesOverseeing the on-site execution of events, including set-up, team and supplier management, speaker and sponsor care, and issue management

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in managing Business to Business events
Previous experience in line management
A graduate degree with a 2:1 or a 1st class
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated experience in delivering projects within deadlines and budget constraints
Both a team player and able to work independently
Good analytical skills for campaign monitoring and post-event analysisDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Knowledge of event marketing strategies
Familiarity with event management software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with event management software (preferred but not required)
