The opportunity: Bookkeeper, based in Leyland.

This is a well-rounded role to help SME's with their Bookkeeping needs.

The role:

The key responsibilities of this Bookkeeping role are:

Reviewing and completing VAT returns – partial exemption knowledge good but not essential
General bookkeeping i.e bank/credit card recociliation’s
Inputting sales and purchase invoices onto software
Unravelling bank reconciliations that don’t balance
Submitting confirmation statements to companies house
The Successful Applicant:

Sufficient experience in a practice environment
Expert knowledge and skills in bookkeeping and reconciliation
Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
Ambitious and persistent, self-motivated and able to work to targets
Good organisational and time management skills.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional customer service
Knowledge ideally of accounting systems such as Sage, Iris, QuickBooks, Xero and FreeAgent
