Our client is searching for an Environment and Sustainability Manager to join their team in Heaton Mersey.Looking to hire an Environment and Sustainability Manager with extensive experience within the Rail sector.
Our client is a reputable contractor within the rail sector who has worked on the UK’s biggest engineering and construction projects.
Experience needed.
·Previous experience in Rail
·Chartered Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (or equivalent)
·Strong working knowledge of ecological issues and applicable legislation for protection of wildlife, including regulations and guidance.
·Ability to undertake project planning, project management and work to budgets.
·Understanding of UK policy, environmental legislation, regulatory frameworks, and experience in briefing senior managers and site teams on changes in legislation or policy and how these might affect their area of work.
