Human Resources Business Partner | Pay and Reward specialist| London | Permanent | Salary dependant on experience (Hybrid)

My client is in the insurance sector.

The Role

The individual will proactively partner and collaborate with the Management team to provide pragmatic and commercially focussed HR advice, help shape and support the delivery of the people and business strategy, by helping to deliver an environment of positive people management to attract, develop and retain talented people who are fully engaged.

The successful applicant will play a key role in organisational pay and reward strategies and processes. Additionally, the role will support the London based business units to build their people capability, plan and manage talent and develop approaches that achieve business objectives as well as acting as local on-site support for key people management tasks.

This role needs the capability to both act as an advisor on key HR elements and a deliverer to make things happen on the ground. The role is based in London, with occasional work in Cheltenham and will be predominantly work on-site.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with the HR Manager to develop and implement pay and reward strategies aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives

* Manage the annual salary review process, including budget planning, salary benchmarking, and communication of salary increases to employees and managers

* Design and administer bonus and incentive programs that reward performance and drive employee engagement and retention

* Oversee the management and administration of employee benefits programs

* Work with managers to address talent and capability gaps and deliver performance improvements across ‘go to market’ products and operational functions in conjunction with the L&D team

* Support achievement of positive improvements in key metrics (e.g. recruitment, retention, employee engagement etc.) in line with the business people plan, with the utilisation of MI

* Remain abreast of market trends and functional best practices, to ensure consistent delivery and deployment of best practice outcomes

Experience and Skills

Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on pay and reward management, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
