Accounts Assistant - Exeter

Role Overview 

As an Accounts Assistant at FullFibre, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for managing the vendor ledger (a record of financial transactions) ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with our vendors. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills will contribute to the smooth functioning of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities 

Manage vendor accounts and accurately record invoices, credits, and payments.
Process payments to vendors under policies and payment terms.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to streamline processes.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and generate reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.

We are looking for someone who

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive attitude with a drive for success.
Eager to learn and develop in the financial industry 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations is a plus.
