CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR
CARDIFF
PERMANENT FULL TIME
£40,000 - £60,000 NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Due to company success and expansion they are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. Excellent progression opportunities available for the right candidate.
Primary Objectives
Co-ordinate the tender process in a timely fashion
Accurate measurement using both CAD measure & manual measures
Production of tenders using Causeway Estimating Software System
Produce an accurate prime cost for the project.
Develop relationships with the design team and clients
Develop relationships, quality, and the range of the supply chain
Identification of areas of risk and opportunity
Highlight conflict and deficiencies within contract documentation
Produce the Estimating handover information in a suitable format for the Construction team
Support of Senior department staff
Supporting Priorities
Support and promote collaborative working both internally & externally
Develop use of IT systems
Maintain a level of technical expertise
Maintain current cost data
Strive to eliminate risk
Obtain feedback from the construction departments on tenders
Follow the company brand and ethos

As our client prepare their own B of Q’s in house the successful MUST be able to read and understand drawings and be able to do take offs from them including cut & fill to finishes.
Remuneration Package:
Salary £40-60k negotiable depending on experience
25 days holiday plus bank holiday
Private medical scheme option
3% pension contribution from employer 4% by employee
