Vacancy Brief:
* Our client is seeking an experienced interim Supported Housing Manager to lead on their youth services in the west midlands on a ‘temp-to-perm’ basis, meaning successful candidates will have the chance to obtain a permanent role and truly invest in their professional development within a growing service.
* Excellent pay rate: candidate’s will be paid £18.14 PAYE Or £23.13 per hour Umbrella.
* Perm salary is £31,010 - £33,418 per annum
* Required working hours in this vacancy are 37.50 per week - Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
* This vacancy is based in Birmingham
The Duties & Responsibilities:
* As a Supported Housing Manager, you will lead, manage and deliver an effective, tenant / licensee focused bespoke housing management service relevant to the young people who live there and the purpose of the scheme.
* In your role as a Supported Housing Manager, you will deliver and proactively manage the allocations and lettings process from the nomination of a tenant/ licensee to a tenant/ licensee moving in.
* You will be required to prevent, manage and resolve anti-social behaviour which breaches occupancy agreements in a proactive and constructive way in conjunction with the Local Authority and all other relevant partners.
* Part of your role will be to develop and maintain excellent relationships with tenants / licensees and to communicate with tenants / licensees effectively, leading and managing consultations as required.
* As a Supported Housing Manager, you will be required to develop, lead and manage the site team, ensuring an effective responsive and tenant focused service is always delivered.
