Have you ever considered how a Building Society manages the money our customers invest? Or even how they make a profit? The opportunity within the Dudley Building Society is central to how we power our members lives and will include:

Day to day cash flow management. This involves monitoring, assessing the Society's bank accounts
Daily finance processing, such as processing and reconciling customer payments and the maintenance of the Society purchase ledger
Completing daily bank reconciliations and ensuring all controls are adhered too
Supporting the Society with production and analysis of management information
Establishing process improvements and systems that result in stronger controls and efficiencies
Integrating data and developing an understanding of the impact to the SocietyTo be successful you will have:

Experience of working in a similar finance role and/or
A strong undergraduate degree in a relevant subject
A passion for personal development
Strong analytic skills
Strong IT skills (Excel)
The ability to think outside of the box and confidence to suggest improvements
A desire to work in a changing and challenging environment
Interest in changing economy and impact to financial services
Personal drive and ambitionPrevious experience in a role in Financial Services will be beneficial to you with this role but don't worry if you have not quite got that yet. This could still be the position for you!

Salary of up to £23,500 per annum (FTE) depending on experience
