As an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA), you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients make informed decisions regarding their financial matters. You will operate on a self-employed basis, offering you the flexibility to manage your schedule and build your own client base while benefiting from the support and resources of our established firm. You will have the opportunity to move to a full employed role in the future, crystallising the capital value of clients which you either bring with you or generate whilst working at Propserity.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Client Consultations:
 
Conduct comprehensive financial assessments and gather information about clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situations.
Provide personalized financial advice and solutions tailored to each client's unique needs and objectives.
Continuously monitor and review clients' financial plans to ensure they remain aligned with their goals.

Investment Planning:
 
Analyse investment opportunities and create diversified portfolios that align with clients' risk profiles and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and economic developments to provide informed investment recommendations.
Assist clients in making informed decisions about their pension, retirement, and investment options.

Financial Planning:
 
Develop and present financial plans covering areas such as retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and insurance.
Offer expertise in various financial products and services, including pensions, ISAs, life insurance, and mortgages.
Guide clients through complex financial decisions and help them navigate changing financial landscapes.
Compliance and Regulatory Responsibilities:
 
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards, including FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, recommendations, and transactions.
Stay informed about regulatory changes and attend mandatory training and development programs.
Business Development:
 
Build and expand your client base through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
Foster long-term client relationships based on trust and exceptional service.
Collaborate with colleagues and leverage our extensive resources of to enhance your advisory practice.
 
Qualifications and Qualities:
 
Hold relevant financial qualifications, such as the Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
Possess a valid and current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
Have proven experience as a financial advisor with a strong track record of success.
Have excellent knowledge of financial products, markets, and regulatory requirements.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Be self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently.
Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
