Management Accountant Opportunity! HYBRID
  
Divisional Management Accountant opportunity, this role incorporates a Hybrid & multi-site location structure. This role is suitable for candidates who reside within an hour’s journey to Harrogate.
  
This role will consist of remote working, and site-based work across 3 businesses in the North-West Yorkshire area. This role offers terrific flexibility, the Head of Finance is very forthcoming in his approach to your development, upskilling and individual benefits.

THE BUSINESS
Our client is a market leading manufacturer & distributor of agricultural products through the whole of the UK. Our client is seeking to hire an ambitious & talented Divisional Accountant. This is a newly created position following a sustained period of growth, this is a trajectory that looks set to continue.
  
THE ROLE

Preparation of monthly management accounts providing review of performance versus budget.
Proactively support and liaise with group stakeholders during month end and seasonal activities
Completion of audit schedules liaising with and being a first point of contact for auditors.
Monthly review of Balance sheet reconciliations and identify and analyse reconciling differences.
Preparation of accruals and prepayments
Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting. Ensure accurate monthly reconciliation of intergroup balances liaising with senior stake holders across all areas of the business.
Work closely with the Finance Director and Managing Director to develop and improve commercial narrative and improve profitability.
Support the senior management team in appraising and evaluating new business opportunities that align with ambitious growth plans.
Provide training and support to junior team members developing your own experience in a management position.
Maintain Fixed Asset Registers and post monthly depreciation for business units
Development of accounting processes and procedures   
  
THE PERSON
Qualified to chartered accountant level (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAEW
Top quality interpersonal skills
Ambitious mindset
Keen to develop and self-improve
Sage 50 experience is hugely beneficial
