Financial Analyst

As a member of the company’s Corporate Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for a variety of reporting and analytical functions. The analyst will develop reports and financial models for existing markets and assets that analyze business performance, support long-range planning, and model future performance and business valuations. Additionally, the analyst will support other finance and accounting functions and groups as the needs of the business may require.
 Duties:
Present results of analysis and research on a variety of business operations topics
Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts
Prepare reports and analysis for senior management, board of directors, and general managers showing actual versus forecasted performance
Gain understanding of existing asset models, including asset performance, asset returns, valuations, trends, and assumptions
Execute daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting and Accounts Payable, to execute weekly check runs
Support other financial, accounting, and operations needs as needed
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective
Understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
Excels in a team-oriented and collaborative work environment
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Exhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Understanding of Hyperion products (Essbase and Strategic Finance) is a plus
Education/Experience:
Bachleor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting
Minimum 3.5 GPA in major and overall
0 – 3 Years of prior relevant work experience
Strong finance and accounting background

 Compensation:
Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $70,000 and $85,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance.
