Work 20-40 hours per week during the summer over a combination of afternoons/evenings and weekends.
Extend your availability to work part-time up to 20 hours per week during May, September and October too and we’ll do our best to accommodate your desired work schedule as long as you have availability to work evenings and weekends.
The Server works as a Front of House Team Member, providing superior hospitality in our Restaurant(s) by: Greeting guests with a smile, taking orders, and serving food, answering questions about various menu items, and beverages to Guests dining in the restaurant. Servers provide prompt and accurate service and ensure that only high quality food and beverages are served, providing a personalized service experience that ensures 100% satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs. Execute service as indicated by Standard Operating Procedures.
· Demonstrate full knowledge of all food, cocktail, liquor, wine and beer products to ensure the guest receives an enhanced experience.
· Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
· Enhance the property’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Assist in maintaining general cleanliness of the entire Restaurant(s).
· Perform preparatory duties as assigned (e.g., polishing glassware and silverware, polishing table setting placement, stocking sections, folding napkins).
· Consistently check guests’ identification and monitor guest consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with hotel, local, state and federal regulations.
· Accurately handle cash & reconcile server financials at the end of the shift.
· Comply with all Health Code guidelines to guarantee we are handling anything consumed by our guests safely and properly.
· Coordinate activities with all departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.
