Brightspeed is currently looking for a Senior Field Sales Representative, SLED to join our team in the Missouri/Kansas region! We are looking for a talented, competent, and driven colleague who has made technology sales to SLED customers, their long-term career choice. In this role, you will report directly to the Enterprise Field Sales Director, SLED.
As Senior Field Sales Representative, SLED, your duties will include:
Responsible for driving new sales with SLED customers and prospects in a 20-state region (Midwest to Southeast)
Develops a deep understanding of the customer’s business problems and positions the Brightspeed product portfolio as the foundation of long-term partnerships.
Represents Brightspeed at public events and collaborates with the marketing team to evangelize the Brightspeed story.
Develops and maintains accurate sales forecasts, and achieves monthly and annual sales targets by identifying new sales opportunities through a sustained and rigorous prospecting cadence, presentation sessions, and partner networking.
Develops action plans and account-specific sales plan to increase overall total customer spend with the company.
Aggressively pursues deeper knowledge of new technologies and sales techniques to increase sales volume and average deal size.
Works with prospects and existing accounts that are E-rate eligible for sales of E-rate products
