CNC Milling Machinist

Are you CNC Miller currently working on 3 axis machines but wanting to learn the ropes in complex 5 axis machining? This opportunity is going to give you that chance and you will be learning off some of the very best in the business!

The Company;

The business are a well-established sub con with excellent processes in place to keep up with the high level of orders. The shopfloor is clean, tidy and modern to make life as comfortable as possible for you. They are constantly growing their customer base and also continuously looking to improve the facility and update the machinery!

The Position;

You will be working on state of the art 5 axis machines, ensuring the parts you produce are to the highest of quality. You will have an experienced team of CNC Programmers creating the offline programs for you, and some experienced heads on the shopfloor to help wherever is needed and pass on all of their knowledge to increase your skillset.

This position is a Monday to Friday day shift role and any overtime outside of the core hours is at X1.5 overtime rate! The extra hours are available for you to do, if you are wanting to bolster your earnings even further.

What we need from you;

Experience with Tool setting for CNC mills
An understanding of datum setting as well as basic G and M codes
A fundamental understanding of work holding, tool holdings, measurement equipment, etc.
A baseline knowledge of engineering / machining principles
