Jr. Electrical Engineer/Sr. Electronics Technician

Contingent position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Reverse engineering electronic circuits systems at various sophistication levels.
• Responsible for reporting and briefing critical finds to leadership.
• Analyze electronic devices from improvised explosive devices.
• Determine electronic/electrical characteristics, operating frequencies and power.
• Analyze recovered electronic components (switches and power supplies).
• Support development of countermeasures for electronic devices/signals.
• Provide information to assist in profiling and signature analysis.
• Produce storyboards and technical reports on captured data.
Requirements
Job Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Physical ability and commitment to deploy OCONUS.
• Physical ability and commitment to travel 50%-100%.
• Familiarity with data capture and entry into selected repositories.
• Understanding of lab processes and work flow for WTI Level II exploitation efforts.
• Understanding of global IED Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) threat.
Education and Experience
• Three to five years of professional work experience in a relevant technical field with a Bachelor's Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Electrical Technology, Computer Engineering, RF Engineering, Communications Engineering, Test Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or three years of professional work experience with a relevant master's degree or higher.
• Completing of WTI and Advanced IED Electronics upon hire, or prior to deployment on this program.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, power supplies, communication receivers, waveform generators, and handheld digital multi-meters.
• Experience with CAD applications, Multi-Sim, LabVIEW and other software packages.
• Experience working with CEXC, WTI, counter-improvised explosive device team, DTK lab, JEFF, TEDAC, facility, other NGIC, DIA or ATF lab.
• Experience in forensic electronics for Military/Civilian law enforcement.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
