Packaging Technician

Promega, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Technician to join our team. As a Packaging Technician at Promega, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are packaged correctly and meet quality standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating packaging equipment, labeling and inspecting products, and ensuring accurate product identification and documentation. You will work closely with the manufacturing and quality control teams to ensure a smooth packaging process and timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
Operate packaging equipment, such as filling machines, labelers, and cartoners
Perform visual inspections of products to ensure quality and accuracy
Complete required documentation, such as batch records and production logs
Label and package products according to standard procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot packaging issues
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
