Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Poole based client with their search for a Mechanical Assembler.
Our client are a forward thinking business who supply to aerospace, marine and medical sectors.
The Role
• Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings
• Ensure all assembled components meet the required specifications and quality standards
• Identify and rectify any assembly defects
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with the maintenance of assembly tools and equipment
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous mechanical assembly experience
• A strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to remain focussed on highly detailed work and remain accurate
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
Shift
Day Shift – Monday to Thursday
Pay
£13 to £13.50p/h depending on experience
