Field Service Engineer Yorkshire

If you are a Field Service Engineer, this is an ideal opportunity to get into the Engineering industry working for a rapidly expanding Commercial Vehicle company based in Yorkshire. They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join them on a permanent basis
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be working on a 41-hour working week Monday to Friday, with a salary of between £50000 and £60000 dependant on experience.
                                                                            
As a Field Service Engineer, task will include:
Carry out diagnostics and repairs at customer and 3rd. party sites.
Carry out major unit exchanges at above locations.
Monitor and control stock levels within individual's depot.
Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company policy.
Carry out stock takes in line with annual plan.
Working unsociable hours may arise to meet the requirements of the business.
Work reasonable additional hours to meet business needs.
Use reporting procedures to feedback quality related issues noted during the work assignment.
Requirements for a Field Service Engineer would be:
Completed engineering apprenticeship as minimum, level 5 qualification or higher preferred.
Mechatronics or multi-skilled engineer with electrical bias
Background in field services and engineering
Experience with electric vehicles.
Working knowledge of zero emission vehicles, electric drive/fuel cell
Experience with high voltage vehicle systems.
Working knowledge of variable speed electric drives and control systems

Company Vehicle
Monday – Thursday, 8am to 17pm, Friday 8am – 15:30pm a 41-hour working week.
£50k – £60k (dependent on experience)
Annual Bonus (pro rata on year of joining)
