Payroll Specialist | Bilston Area | Permanent Opportunity | up to £35,000 DOE

Seymour John have been exclusively engaged by a stable SME business, who can offer a secure opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to support the HR Lead. You will be offered continued professional development with training and study options available for the right candidate.
The Opportunity
You will focus largely on the smooth day to day running of Payroll function and provide wider support to the HR lead on HR business projects and ER casework.
* Maintain payroll systems, including databases and payroll software.
* Execute payroll operations, including processing, data management, and liaising with tax authorities.
* Generate reports from HR and payroll systems for managerial review and benefit renewals.
* Administer company benefits and oversee renewal processes.
* Manage pension related tasks such as onboarding, changes, and terminations.
* Facilitate maternity / paternity leave processes.
* Provide guidance to managers and employees on benefits, sick leave, and employment related matters.
* Handle general HR administrative tasks
* Manage HR communications and escalate where appropriate to HR lead
Personal Profile
We are looking for candidates who can competently manage the payroll function and who could perhaps demonstrate previous HR administration experience within an SME environment who can hit the ground running and take ownership of their work.
